Day 2 Corcovado National Park
Today we'll take the short drive back to San
Jose to catch a flight bound for our next tropical adventure.
Located on the Osa Peninsula, Corcovado National Park is home
to the most unspoiled Pacific costal rainforest in Central
America. With over 400 bird species, 140 mammal species and
an incredible 500 tree species this park has more biodiversity
than most countries, including the entire United States! We'll
arrive in time for a short hike on one of the many trails
that crisscross the park. Then, snuggle into your private
screened in bungalow and let the sounds of the jungle lull
you into a restful slumber.

Day 3 Corcovado National Park
Today we'll rise early and start our hike through
the Park. Bring your binoculars because you're going to see
Costa Rica nature like you've never seen it before, including
creatures that will stagger your imagination! Look to the
canopy above for monkeys, toucans, sloths and the spectacular
harpy eagle. Look to the forest floor for a glimpse of a giant
anteater or, if you're really lucky, one of the five species
of cat that prowl the shadows. Wander to your heart's content,
the trails in the Park are practically endless. Later, if
you need a swim to wash away the day's exercise, just take
the ten-minute stroll from your bungalow to your own pristine
white sandy beach.

or scuba diving. You'll delight in this underwater paradise
while your guides prepare you a delicious lunch on one of
the lovely beaches. Frolic long into the afternoon, then we'll
go back for a well deserved diner and cocktails at your lodge's
private poolside restaurant.

Day 5 San Carlos
Today we'll take the short return flight to San
Jose and move on toward our next exotic nature excursion.
We'll arrive in San Carlos in time for a quiet stroll and
a great dinner. After your meal, soak your weary bones in
one of the steaming thermal pools at Tabacon resort located
at the base of the Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica's most active
volcano. Sip on a rum filled coconut at the swim up bar while
you watch the volcano explode. Soak long into the evening
