Canopy Tour (Zip Lines)

The Costa Rican rain forest is an incredibly lush, vibrant paradise and there’s no better way to experience it than zooming through it on a thrilling Canopy Tour.

We eventually arrive at the first platform of the tour located on a secluded hillside with a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding jungle. At this point we’ll trade in our horses for a, shall we say, less conventional mode of transportation. We hope you aren’t afraid of heights because we’re headed up, way up, into the canopy trees. Canopy trees sour high above the rest of the forest and are home to an entire ecosystem full of exotic plants and animals that spend their entire lives up in the heights.

A cable or “zip-line” reaches out from the hillside to the first platform high in the nearest canopy tree. So clip in and zoom down at heart stopping speeds or hit the breaks for a more leisurely ride. We’ll spend the rest of the afternoon zipping for platform to platform, tree to tree all the while enjoying the perfect mix of adrenaline and awe inspired wonder as we frolic with the jungle’s high altitude inhabitants.
