Day 1 – Arrival in San Jose

Today you’ll arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose where your friendly Green Frog Adventures Guide will be waiting to transport you to your first exotic destination on this 7-day Caribbean fishing adventure vacation. From the airport we’ll take the short drive up into the mountains overlooking San Jose to our lovely hotel for the evening. Once we arrive you can enjoy an authentic Costa Rican meal as you gaze out at the San Jose Valley far below.

Day 2 – Transfer to Rio Colorado

Today we’ll start making our way to the Caribbean Coast and some of the best tarpon and snook fishing in the world. The journey to the coast will take the better part of the day but you’ll be traveling through some of the most amazing scenery you can imagine and the guide are happy to stop as often as need for snacks and cervezas!

Days 3 to 5 – Tarpon and Snook Fishing

Spend the next few days doing some of the best sport fishing in the world. Tarpon fishing is definitely the highlight and these fish hit hard and often. It’s not uncommon to hook into 10 to 20 of these 100-pound behemoths as they soar high into the air time after time. One thing’s for sure, you be both tired and thrilled at the end of each day!

Day 6 – Transfer to San Jose

Today, after a delicious breakfast and a hearty farewell, we’ll start making our way back to San Jose to catch your flight home the following day. The evening is yours to exchange fish stories about all of the monsters that didn’t get away!!

Day 7 – Adios!!

We’ll provide a private shuttle that will take you directly from your hotel to the passenger drop-off at the airport. You’ll depart with amazing memories of the perfect tropical family vacation. Adios…
